Hewitson Walker has been assigned by a Global Service Provider to assist with its search for a Financial Accountant.
Working within the Group Reporting Team, you will be responsible for the following:
- Co-ordinating, preparing and analysing comprehensive management and financial information
- Management of the accounting process under UKGAAP and IFRS
- Management, preparation and delivery of half year accounts
- Providing financial analysis and explanatory commentary of actual result performance against prior periods on a monthly basis.
- Improve financial/accounting processes
The successful candidate will ideally have strong financial accounting skills coupled with the ability to build relationships within the wider business to ensure accuracy and timely submission of financial information.
You will be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with the ability to work effectively as both part of a team and on your own initiative, be flexible and to question current practices with the target of improving the department to achieve best practices. You will be an excellent communicator with good commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively at a senior level.
